Remembering Brendan Munnerlyn; 1990-2014

Today we at NFL Draft Diamonds say with a very sad heart that Brendan Munnerlyn the former Milford Academy football player has passed away.

@BergmansLaw: @DraftDiamonds with a sad heart to say that our client,@IronMANBreNdaN had passed on Thurs night, age 23, wrongful death, we will miss him.

According to Police Reports, Brendan died in a car accident on the 17th of July.

On July 17, 2014 at about 10:45 pm, patrol officers were called to the 16300 block of McKendree Road for a report of a single car collision. A passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation reveals the driver of a Ford Mustang was headed eastbound on McKendree Road. For reasons which remain unclear, the driver lost control, left the roadway, and struck a utility pole. The deceased front passenger was ejected from the vehicle. A rear passenger was also seriously injured and transported to a local hospital. The driver was seen running from the car after the crash. Investigators are now searching for an African American man, approximately 20 years old, 5’9” and 180 pounds.

Brendan had a passion for football and although he was never able to meet that goal of getting to play in the NFL, he touched many peoples hearts.

We did an interview with Brendan earlier this year for our NFL draft prospects interviews and he was such a great kid with a huge heart and ambition to make it to the NFL. Today we are sad to say that we lost a true football player and fan.
