Andrew Luck held a youth football camp in London this past week
Andrew Luck the Indianapolis Colts quarterback spent time this past week in London working with his Father and roughly 50 youth to test their knowledge, skills and abilities on the football field. Luck is a very solid quarterback, that is a growing trend in the NFL. He could be the best all around quarterback drafted since Peyton Manning. Luck is a very sharp individual, who knows and understands the game. Luck has ties to Europe and wanted to spread the help to the United Kingdom, where his father worked with NFL Europe years ago.
“My father was working for NFL Europe so my family has a strong affinity for American Football on this continent and in this country,” Andrew Luck told NFL UK on Monday, via Colts.com. “I love to come back to both of the countries at least once a year during the offseason to catch up with old families. I still have a bunch of family friends, a bunch of family members that live in Germany so I try to connect with them.”
“We are working on football skills, focused on the offensive side of the ball, quarterbacks and then everyone else who catches the ball, quarterbacks, tight ends, running backs, tight ends, wide receivers,” Luck said. “We’ve got a great group of guys today, a lot of talent, surprising level of proficiency about the game so it’s been good.”
If the Indianapolis Colts do get to play a game in London, watch out, because Andrew Luck could have a following that is so strong, it would be considered another home game for the Colts.
