That is a blessing when you look at it, because one player who was hoping to get around 4 years and 22 million should now be smiling. That player is Sam Shields of the Green Bay Packers.  He was really interested in re-signing with the Packers and was looking for a deal worth around what Tim Jennings received in a 4 year deal worth 22 million. Well with Brent Grimes getting a bigger pay day, the 26 year old Shields could be destined to get a pretty penny.  Good thing he waited his time, Good Luck Sam.
