How many teams were recruiting you out of high school?

5-7 teams were showing interest

Where did you choose and why?

S.C. State University, it was closer to home after attending Fork Union Military Academy.

What were your goals for your senior year?  

Win our Conference, and make a deep playoff run.

Have any scouts met with you, and if so what are they saying?

At least 17 of the 32, good playmaker that can improve blocking.

At your position, what separates you from the others?

Ball Placement, great hands, and creates separation.

Tell us what you look for when breaking down film?

Base defense, safety roll tendencies, depth of safeties, and the pre and post play feet of the corners along with their tendencies.

If you could compare your play to one person in the NFL who would it be?

I can’t pick one, but I will say a mix of Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Crabtree.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Becoming complacent in high school. Fork Union Military Academy opened my eyes to stay focused and never becoming complacent.

What system fits your style of play the best?

I can play in any system

What is your biggest strength?

My Hands

What is your biggest weakness?

My perimeter blocking

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

The best playmaker with ball skills you will come across.

Growing up, who was your role model?

My two older brothers

Who was your favorite team and player in the NFL and why?

I don’t have a favorite team. My favorite player is Michael Crabtree.

What was the most tragic event that ever happened in your life and how did you overcome it?

I recently lost a teammate. I’ve been using football and my training to keep my mind focused

If you were to have dinner with three people dead or alive who would it be?

Michael Jordan, Martin Luther King Jr., and Nelson Mandela

With your first paycheck what would you buy?

Xbox one. After paying whatever bill responsibilities I have at the time.
