Brian Xanders will be latest to interview for Dolphins GM job, per sources. He is Lions senior personnel director; Broncos GM 2009-12

Xanders joined the Lions’ front office last January, after four seasons as Denver Broncos general manager. He worked hand-in-hand with former Broncos coach Josh McDaniels on the 2010 draft, which netted Denver receivers Demaryius Thomas and Eric Decker. He left after the 2012 draft, when John Elway took control of Denver’s front office.

Last year, the Lions had their deepest rookie class in recent memory. First-round pick Ziggy Ansah led all rookies with eight sacks, third-round offensive guard Larry Warford was named Offensive Rookie of the Year by Pro Football Focus, and the Lions got contributions from Devin Taylor (fourth round), Sam Martin (fifth) and undrafted rookies Joseph Fauria and LaAdrian Waddle.
