Report: #49ers and #Browns have agreed on compensation for Kaepernick, just not contract details
Colin Kaepernick may not be a San Francisco 49er very much longer. According to Matt Barrows, the 49ers and the Browns have reportedly worked out an agreement on compensation for Colin Kaepernick. That compensation is the 65th pick of the 2016 NFL Draft. Right now the only problem is Kaepernick’s contract. The Browns would like to restructure his deal, and if they cannot come up to an agreement on the deal then the deal may be off.
If the 49ers can land the draft pick from the Browns they will have 22 picks in the next two years to get their roster right.
