Jake Long is still an option for the Atlanta Falcons; They will not close the door on him
The Atlanta Falcons are interested in former first round pick Jake Long. The Falcons already worked out the veteran tackle and are hurting at the position. When Head Coach Dan Quinn was asked whether or not the team was still considering signing Long, he had a pretty positive response.
“Yes, somebody we still have talked about, for sure,” Quinn told ESPN. “And a guy we have lots of regard for. Not a topic that we’ve discussed with him in that length. … I’ll wait to see where we’re at in regard to the injuries before we move forward in that way in terms of future players.”
The Atlanta Falcons need an offensive tackle, and Jake Long is a very solid fit right now for them. I do not know what the Falcons are waiting for.
