Report: Packers believe Jordy Nelson tore his ACL
This is a horrible preseason so far for injuries, and the Green Bay Packers might have just lost their best wide receiver for the year. Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the “initial diagnosis” for Packers WR Jordy Nelson is that he has a torn ACL.
While Green Bay is still awaiting the MRI, they fear the former Kansas State product will be done for the year.
In 2014, Nelson appeared in all 16 games and recorded 98 receptions for 1,519 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns.
