Could Percy Harvin revive his career with Tom Brady and the Patriots?
New York Jets wide receiver Percy Harvin is a dangerous weapon, but he had a quiet 2014 season with just 51 receptions for 483 yards and a touchdown. He also added 33 rushing attempts for 202 yards and 32 kick returns for 778 yards. He played in just one game during the 2013 regular season, catching one pass for 17 yards with one kick return for 58 yards.
If you go back to the Super Bowl for the Seahawks you will remember how explosive Harvin can be, but at the end of the day, he will not return to superstar fashion without a quarterback. Well if he is released there could be several suitors for him.
If Harvin is let go, then the Patriots are among teams expected to show interest in the versatile receiver, according to ProFootball Talk and CBS Sports’ Jason La Canfora.
Harvin would likely sign a one year deal, and if that happens I could see Tom Brady making Harvin a hero again. Harvin has all the talent in the world, he just needs someone to get him the ball. Do you think Harvin could revive his career with Brady? I do….
