Should Devin Hester hang up the cleats?
Devin Hester will be a free agent this year, but will the best return man to ever play the game land on a team?
If he doesn’t it is a shame, because first off he is 31 but had the most return yards of his career last year. While the Bears fans complain about him, Hester is still solid.
Last year, he returned 52 kick returns for 1,436 yards and had 43 total returns of 20 plus yards. He also added 256 punt return yards.
His biggest problem last year was holding onto the ball. Hester fumbled 5 times which is the most of his career and only scored 1 touchdown. While many probably feel he needs to hang him up, let me be the first to say , wherever he lands , he will hit the ground running.
Hester should be a first ballot Hall of Famer, because he re- defined the game as a return man. I would expect a team that is struggling in the return game ton sign him. When they do watch out.
