Giants activate Victor Cruz’s college teammate hoping he can fill in at wide out
He’s a kid from Jersey who went to UMass and, like Cruz, wasn’t good enough to even get an invitation to the NFL scouting combine. And just like Cruz two years ago, the 23-year-old Talley is finally getting his shot.
Talley is now getting his chance. Today he was activated to the 53 man roster. Talley was Cruz’s teammate at UMass and was ultimately his replacement. Talley scored 11 touchdowns in his college career the same as Cruz. The Giants better hope he turns out like a Cinderella story, because as of right now, their season is in limbo. They better hope Talley can come in and contribute right away or else this fairy tale could have a sad ending.
