Today the Minnesota Vikings claimed Ben Tate off the waiver wire from the Cleveland Browns. Many thought it was to spell the loss of Adrian Peterson, but the team might just be desperate for a starting back.

According to ESPN’s Ben Goessling, the Vikings might need Tate to start this week.
