Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is having a minor surgery today
According to Judd Zulgad of 1500ESPN.com, Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer is undergoing a minor procedure today. The nature of the procedure is not known as of right now, but the coach is expected to be in Buffalo this week coaching.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer not at practice today – having a “minor procedure”, but will be back with the team tomorrow & will coach Sunday.
The 58-year-old Zimmer is expected to coach the team on Sunday in Buffalo, and it’s anticipated he will return Saturday, when the team has a walk-through, per 1500ESPN.com.
I do not know what procedure Zimmer is having, but boy has he been upset with his team’s performance so far this year. He has called out almost everyone on the roster, so hopefully they will show up this week against Buffalo.
