Tyler Thigpen could be a Brown by as early as tonight
According to USA Today’s Tom Pelissero the Browns will meet with free agent QB Tyler Thigpen on Friday night. This is great sign if your last name is Weeden.
Brian Hoyer (ACL tear) is headed to injured reserve, so Thigpen could push Jason Campbell to be Brandon Weeden’s backup. Thigpen is 29 years old and has been on several NFL teams. Most recently Thigpen was Ryan Fitzpatrick’s back up in Buffalo.
If the Browns to sign Thigpen then it looks like Weeden will get the keys back to the car.
