Tramon Williams is now saying he did not know it was a ref he pushed
If you watched the painful game yesterday where the Lions put up a Forty burger on the Packers, the one thing that was uncalled for was Tranon Williams shoving an official out the way, while arguing with a Lions player.
Well he is now claiming he didn’t know it was the ref.
“The referee must have come and just walked right in front of me and grazed me,” Williams said, via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “I don’t know if he was trying to hold me or what. He just grazed me and I kind of knocked his arm off me. I was already frustrated. It was just an emotion thing.”
Either way, I expect him to get fined for putting his hands on an official, it could lead to a suspension.
