Saints TE Jimmy Graham arrested in California for resisting arrest the day before their game
The New Orleans Saints play the Los Angeles Chargers tomorrow night, but before they suit up they are going to have to deal with a player arrest.
Legendary tight end Jimmy Graham who is attempting a comeback was arrested last night for acting a fool in the middle of the street. When police attempted to subdue him he resisted arrest. Police believe he was under the influence of drugs.
The 36-year-old was eventually taken into custody for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance and resisting, delaying and obstructing a police officer, which are both misdemeanors.
The Saints however are saying that Graham suffered from a medical condition.
After he was taken into custody, the team says Graham was sent to a nearby hospital to get checked out.
The Saints believed Graham likely suffered a seizure, he spent the night getting examined and was released to be back with his team.
