Seahawks signed 8 players to future deals today
Seahawks signed DT D’Anthony Smith, DB Akeem Auguste, WR Phil Bates, DT Michael Brooks, DT Dewayne Cherrington, WR Arceto Clark, TE Cooper Helfet, and OG Jared Smith. All 8 of these players were on the practice squad during the Super Bowl. Michael Brooks might have been the most moved player all season, going from the practice squad to waiver wire over 10 tens.
D’Anthony Smith is a former third-round pick of the Jaguars whom the Seahawks acquired via trade last August. Jared Smith was a seventh-round pick by Seattle in last April’s draft.
