Corey Wootton has retired from the NFL at 29 years old

Former Bears and Vikings defensive lineman Corey Wootton retired from the NFL today.


Wootton, 29, had 12 sacks and three forced fumbles in 86 career games with the Bears and Minnesota Vikings. After earning first-team All-Big Ten honors with NU in 2008, the Bears drafted him in the fourth round (109th overall) in 2010.
