Robert Davis

What is your Height/Weight? 

6’3, 220

What is your position? 

Wide Receiver

Where do you play college football? 

Georgia State University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Visited an elementary school in Atlanta Georgia, I get excited to do things like that because I remember how excited I use to get when I was that age and saw football players.  That gives us a role model to set a positive example.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take

Abnormal Phycology

Where are you from? 

Warner Robins, GA

Who is your role model, and why? 

My cousin, Thomas Davis of the Carolina Panthers. He preserved through 3 ACL surgeries and still plays at a high level.  He has also always been a positive role model not only in the community, but in the NFL

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Basketball, Baseball

Did you play any other positions in football? 

I played Quarterback and safety all the way up until high school

At your position, what separates you from others? 

My knowledge of the game along with my Athleticism, and the way I prepare for my opponent

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Individually I look for any weakness I can find in my opponent, or any particular things that make my opponents uncomfortable

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Alshon Jeffery, he’s a big receiver with an outstanding catch radius, who attacks the ball in the air

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

I’d rather not say

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

I always say a quick prayer at the 1 yard line, because I only had 1 offer coming out of high school

What is your biggest strength? 

My competitiveness

What is your biggest weakness? 

My competitiveness (It can be a strength and a weakness)

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I compete in every aspect of my life, so if you want a guy that going to give it his all and do whatever it takes to beat the man across from him, I’m your guy

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

I had a lot but one of my favorite players growing up was Steve Smith, I love the passion he played with every snap

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

My grandads because they died before I was born and I never met them, but I know they were classy people

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Someone to watch my grandmother so she can leave her long term care facility because she tells me all the time she doesn’t like it there
