Raiders worked out former CFL Grey Cup MVP, could be McFadden’s replacement?

The Oakland Raiders are in danger of losing running back Darren McFadden in free agency, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that they have conducted a workout with another potential running back. Well the Raiders worked out a former NFL player and a Canadian Football icon this week.

According to Adam Caplan of ESPN, the Raiders hosted Saskatchewan Roughriders running back Kory Sheets on who went through a workout at the team facility.

Sheets was an undrafted free agent signed by the San Francisco 49ers in 2009. He bounced around on the Dolphins roster, as well as the Panthers before ending up in Canada.
