Patriots sign defensive tackle from Panthers practice squad
The New England Patriots’ run defense took a hit Saturday as the club announced that Sealver Siliga has been placed on injured reserve with a designation to return.
Each NFL team is allowed to place one player on the injured reserve/designated to return list per season.
In a corresponding move, the Patriots signed first-year defensive lineman Casey Walker off the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad to fill their open spot on the 53-man roster.
