5 11.5 190lbs

Wide Receiver

Eastern Washington University

Where are you from?

Sammamish, Washington

Who is your role model, and why?

My dad, all the sacrifices he’s made for my family, and how he has instilled so many qualities in me for what life’s all about, and how to live it.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Tough choice Chuck Lee from Beaver Lake or Don Bartel from Skyline HS.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Played just about everything but mainly basketball and baseball.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

My old teammate Tevin McDonald.

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

Mitch Fettig

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

Don’t have one, in particular, to be honest. Maybe a childhood song that takes me back to my days of dreaming of being there.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Probably Jarvis Landry typically in the slot but can play outside, similar height, catches the ball well, route runner, tough, and quicker than fast.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Working at a high rate for a long period of time and not seeing it pay off in big ways. Meaning my JR season having played for 3 years behind WR’s who played in the NFL was tough mentally because I had been pushing myself so hard and knowing what I was capable of, it was hard to deal with not reaping the rewards. Also, on top of it hit a little injury bug of breaking and tearing my wrist second day of camp my JR season and was forced to miss spring ball heading into SR year because of surgery after the season. So I had to trust gods plan and to continue to push myself to earn the chance of showing everyone what I was capable of.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Not really, I like to stay calm and relaxed. So, I like to listen to some podcast sermons, and just enjoy the little things of the game day experience.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

Probably the one handed TD catch I had vs Montana my frosh year, big rivalry game, made the Sportscenter top 10 and was kind of my first “breakout game”.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

I really enjoy working at the Special Olympics, have done it for a couple years now, directly officiating and working with the athletes.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

Hometown team, Seattle Seahawks.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Lebron James, Jerry Rice, and Michael Jordan.
