5’10” / 190 lbs

What is your position? 

Defensive Back

Where do you play college football? 

Played at Southern Utah for 3 years before finishing my career at Central Washington University

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

Every year at Southern Utah we held a Watermelon Bust, where the community gathered to meet the team. We would put the local kids through football drills and toss around the football with them. Nothing felt better than seeing the kids laugh and smile while playing football with them. 

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Being a exercise science major, biomechanics had to be the hardest class. 

Where are you from? 

Originally from Fairfield, California 

Who is your role model, and why? 

Has to be my father, Jerome. He truly has showed me how to take care of a family and what it takes. 

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

I was a big baseball player growing up and through high school. 

Did you play any other positions in football? 

Throughout high school played WR and QB. First getting to college I was a Wr/RB before moving to DB my red shirt sophomore year. 

At your position, what separates you from others? 

My versatility, I can guard every position as well as any where on the field from CB,nickel, and safety. 

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I like to look for tendencies the offense and WR have. Example, what WR do when they run a comeback or releases on deeper routes. 

Who was the toughest player you ever faced? 

DeAndre Carter out of Sacramento State. His routes were crisp, he was smooth out of his breaks as well as having speed. 

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Brandon Boykin, he can guard WR in slot and as outside. This is something I take pride in. 

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

Going through the recruiting process in high school. I was from a small area and switched positions many times. It was hard to attract schools with no true position but I was able to show my athleticism and get to Southern Utah on a scholarship. 

Do you have any pre-game rituals? 

The last song I must listen to before heading out on the field has to be Sail by Awolnation

What is your biggest strength? 

I would have to touch back on my versatility. Being not just a Safety or Corner. Teams can move me around and I compete at every spot. 

What is your biggest weakness? 

I would have to say my height. I am only 5’10” 

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I would be one of the hardest working players on the team and would be able to be moved to any position and compete. 

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

Always been a Earl Thomas fan before he was in Seattle. Favorite team is the Cowboys. 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Kevin Hart, Steph Curry, and Ken Griffey Jr. 

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

A new truck
