Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field? 

Being able to use my platform as a division 1 football player to try to inspire and motivate to do better by talking to kids from pre-school to high school in both the the Lubbock community and my hometown community of Arlington,Texas.

Born in Nigeria, raised in Arlington,Texas.

Who is your role model, and why?

Peyton Manning, for the man he’s been on the field and the even better man he is off the field plus his sense of humor.  

Did you play any other sports growing up? 

Soccer

Did you play any other positions in football? 

I played running back and quarterback in high school.

At your position, what separates you from others? 

No matter the size of the person holding the football or the size of the person trying to stop me from the person holding the football, I will always find a way to get to the football and make a play.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

The small details around the line of scrimmage before the snap, for example the stance of an offensive guard that may or may not show tendencies.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why? 

Deone Buccannon, he’s a guy that gets to the ball regardless of his weight of 210 pounds at middle linebacker and when he gets there he delivers a blow.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it? 

Being able to combine football at a high level and petroleum engineering the past 3 and half years. I was, able to do it with the help of God, my family, and friends.

What is your biggest weakness? 

Over aggressive tackling.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say? 

I will be your most productive defender on the field.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up? 

Peyton Manning.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose? 

Jesus, my grandma, my grandpa

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Some sort of investment.
