My name is Marcus Jenkins-Moore

What is your Height/Weight?

I’m 6’3 and Weigh 225 lbs

What is your position?

I play OLB

Where do you play college football?

I Started at LA Pierce, Kansas, North Dakota, finished at Wayne State College

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Back when I was attending KU, I volunteered to conduct Field Day festivities for an Elementary school. Biggest big kid ever!

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Psychology 66 By FAR was the hardest course I’ve taken!

Where are you from?

Louisville, KY

Who is your role model, and why?

My Mother has been there for me from jump, and she always disciplined me with knowledge to help me survive and get to where I am today!

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I played basketball, but I was better bowler!

Did you play any other positions in football?

Played Safety

At your position, what separates you from others?

I’m always around the football. This .450 motor I have built inside me allows me to take good reads and make plays!

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When I watch film I look for my opponents strong points because, if I can beat you at your best, I’m beating you all game!

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

CJ Ham from Augustana

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Ryan Shazier without a doubt. Athletic Linebacker that can fill and play sideline to sideline.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Soon as I committed to KU and got on campus and started workouts, I tore my ACL/LCL. Didn’t know if it was karma or anything. I was lost mentally and I thought my football playing days were done. But I prayed everyday and rehabbed twice a day to get back to form. Kept faith until I seen the light at the end of the tunnel. Special thanks Murph(KU)!

Plug in my headphones and let the Music takeover!

What is your biggest strength?

Read and React! I’m very good at that.

What is your biggest weakness?

Escaping triple team blocks lol

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I’m Hungry! I’ll get the job done to eat at the table!

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

Brian Dawkins/ Green Bay Packers 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Martha Stewart, Bill Gates, Barack Obama

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

I’ll buy my mothers dream car! BMW 7 series!
