Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

The coolest thing I have done off the field to give back is reading to kids twice a month at the pre-school in our community.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Biology concepts

Where are you from?

Louisville, KY

Who is your role model, and why?

My role model would have to be my parents because they showed me the importance in life and responsibilities.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yes I played AAU basketball in middle and hit school and a little baseball until I got to high school.

Did you play any other positions in football?

No just WR

At your position, what separates you from others?

What’s separates me from other players would be my route running I try to perfect my routes and I feel that I have great strong hands being able to come down with the tough catches.

Carlos_SmithWhen you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

When breaking down film I try to watch for how the DB plays after he has made a big play or how a DB reacts when he has had a big play made on him.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

The toughest player I ever faced was in high school when I played against Justin Greene from Louisville Male High School.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

If I could compare myself to someone in the NFL it would have to be Keenan Allen because he’s not technically the fastest receiver but he runs great routes that allows him to separate from the defender and he has great hands.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle that I have faced in my life is moving my wife and son to Oklahoma, supporting them and being a full time student-athlete. I overcame this obstacle by praying and keeping my faith strong, while keeping a good balance between all things.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I eat a Pb&J, and listen to my favorite playlist before every game.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strength is always having a positive attitude even at the worst times.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness is never wanting to give up.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

All I need is the opportunity to prove myself.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite NFL player growing up was Randy Moss & my favorite NFL team was the Atlanta Falcons

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

I would have dinner with my wife, my son, and my mother.

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

The first big item I would purchase is a house for my wife and son.
