Rocky Mountain College 

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Helping a local non-profit serve thanksgiving dinner to the less fortunate.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Product and operations management. 

Where are you from?

Riverside, CA

Who is your role model, and why?

My mom because she has worked hard for everything she has. She has taught me that nothing will be handed to you. 

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yes, baseball, soccer and basketball

Did you play any other positions in football?

Running back and defensive back 

At your position, what separates you from others?

My ability to be a student of the game. I’m always looking for ways to get better.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for alignment, coverages, and player tendencies. I examine how efficient a defensive backs feet and back pedal are.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?  

I’d have to say Vontaze Burfict

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Larry Fitzgerald because of his versatility and ability to separate within routes. 

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

The biggest obstacle was being away from football for three years earlier in my career. I played flag football with my boy David, and never gave up on my dreams of playing in the League. Do you have any pre-game rituals? Cutting off my phone at 8pm, soaking in a bath and watching film the night before.

My biggest strength is my will-power. When I set out to accomplish something I don’t stop grinding till I reach my goal. 

What is your biggest weakness?

My mind, sometimes it can be my biggest enemy. 

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I am dedicated and accountable. I’ll be ready to work anytime of the day.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

The Rams

 

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Esther, Melinda, Ty, LeeAnna and Tyrone (couldn’t pick three)

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

A ring
