NFL Draft Diamonds NFL mid season awards

We at NFL Draft Diamonds wanted to put put out our first ever mid season awards. So here they are:

MVP – Calvin Johnson – While i would love to give the award to Peyton Manning I can’t because both Tom Brady and CJ are helping their teams on less stacked teams. I think Peyton will ultimately win, but Megatron has been special.

Least Valuable Player – Robert Griffin III – I thought he was better than Andrew Luck and boy is he making me look bad for that. The guy is always banged up, I am losing faith in him.

Coach of the Year – Andy Reid, The guy took Alex Smith who i thought would not help them and they are 8-0. Have to love the old teddy bear, the guy is a great coach.

Offensive Rookie of the Year – After 8 games I am giving they award to Eddie Lacy. The guy was hurt and came back to help even out the offense . They are winning now because of his tough running.

Defensive Rookie of the Year – Kiko Alonso of Buffalo is by far the best rookie, he is third in tackles and tied for first in interceptions. The kid is a freak of nature on defense.

Comeback Player of the Year – Johnny Jolly of the Green Bay Packers deserves this award. He is proof that a player can go through adversities and still pull off a miracle. He has been very good in his return.
