Could Marshawn Lynch’s relationship with Seahawks come to an end soon?
According to a Sunday report from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Lynch, 28, has a tense relationship with Carroll and “little-to-no communication” with Carroll and GM John Schneider.
ESPN’s Chris Mortenson reported that the discord goes both ways, writing on Sunday that the Seahawks’ decision makers have grown tired of Lynch’s antics — which included not showing up to the team’s celebration at the White House following their Super Bowl XLVIII win — and that almost no one expects the eighth-year veteran back with the club in 2015.
A separate story from NFL Network’s Mike Silver on Sunday went further, claiming that Lynch “harbors bitterness” toward Carroll after Lynch’s summer contract holdout and off-season proclamations by Seattle’s coaches about a diminished workload for Lynch this year.
At this point, I do not know what a team would give up for Marshawn Lynch, but it sounds like the running back could be running himself out of another city. He did this to the Bills as well, if you do not remember….
