When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

First, I look to see what formation they’re in and I look at the o linemen stance to see if they are about to run or pass block. I also look to see if it’s about to be a pulling guard or center for a power play or a counter play. I check down for down blocks, base blocks, pass blocks and doubles teams on each play. I study the o linemen to see if he’s a patient blocker or a aggressive blocker

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

I would say my teammate Lavonte Heights because he is very good with his feet and he has the same wing span as me, so it’s always a battle going against him

Calais Campbell because of his size and the way he uses his length and speed to play make plays.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle that I’ve overcame was when I had to sit out of school for a whole year and had to get a job to provide for my family and myself. I was still constantly working out everyday hoping for another opportunity to play on somebody’s team and I got that opportunity with Shepherd.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I always go out on the field before our team warm up and stare at the field to remind myself how bless I am to have another opportunity to play football.

What is your biggest strength?

My biggest strengths is my ability to get off blocks and using my hands and length very well against the run or pass block. Also my awareness.

What is your biggest weakness?

My biggest weakness would be staying low on double team blocks

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

That I am a hard worker, a competitor, and you’re guaranteed to see me make plays each time you put me out on that field
