Legion of WHOM? Where have the Seahawks secondary went?

legionLast year the Legion of Boom were pretty amazing.  They could not be thrown on because Richard Sherman and company really put work in.  This year the team lost Brandon Browner via free agency to the New England Patriots and the team has dealt with several injuries.  Well the Seahawks defense is not as feared as it once was.

Legion of Boom? Opposing passers have a combined rating of 103.7 against the Seahawks (12 TD, 2 INT). That ranks 28th in NFL.

The team that ranks 28th in the NFL in passing is not getting the job done. They are truly beginning to be picked on by quarterbacks. When the Packers faced the Seahawks Aaron Rodgers stayed away from throwing at Richard Sherman. Other quarterbacks have not been afraid and attacked the secondary, and they have been successful.

I want to know what you think, were they overrated?

Earl Thomas wasn't overrated but Richard Sherman totally WAS. The only reason he was consider top ELITE CB because of the front 7… the pressure they were able to give to opposing QB. The truth is, when you have a QB being blitz where they only have 3 seconds to pass the ball… Secondary will look amazing. Not this year!!! They are getting beat time and time again… and game after game.
