Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Reading across America. Which is going to elementary schools and reading to the students.

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Finance

Where are you from?

Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother. She’s the hardest working person I know and she taught me the core values needed to succeed in life.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I ran track in high school.

Did you play any other positions in football?

Running back.

At your position, what separates you from others?

I believe my instincts separate me the most.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

I look for the tendencies of the offense. Alignments of the offensive line, I pay attention to the quarterback and running backs strengths and weakness as well as the wide receivers. And who the offense’s best player is.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Ethan Cooper, my own teammate.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Ryan Shazier. I’m a smaller sized linebacker with quickness, toughness and great instincts.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Overcoming a torn patellar tendon. I overcame it by believing everything happens for a reason and working extremely hard to recover.

I listen to The Problem by Wale before every game.

What is your biggest strength?

I believe my biggest strength is my instincts.

What is your biggest weakness?

Being undersized.

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

I would say football is my life and has been for a long time I know I can play this game, all I need is a chance.

Who was your favorite player and/or NFL team growing up?

My favorite player was Ray Lewis but my favorite team is the Steelers.

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Kobe Bryant Ray Lewis and Muhammad Ali.

What will be the first big item you buy once you are in the NFL?

Whatever my mother wanted.
