My father, he has taught me everything I know and been there for me every step of the way!
Who was your favorite teacher?
Dr. Clipson at SFA, taught me so much in his class and outside of the class and left a huge mark in my life.
Did you play any other sports growing up?
I played basketball, baseball, swimming, and track and field.
Who was the toughest player you ever faced?
John Franklin, defensive end at SFA, challenged me every day and pushed me to be a better tackle.
Who is the most underrated player on your team?
Kijana Amous RB at SFA.
What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?
He Will reign—sleeping giant. reminds me of why and who I play this game for and that is Jesus Christ.
If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?
I really like a lot of different players, but if I had to choose one it would probably be Lane Johnson RT for the Eagles, he is aggressive and a very smart player and uses good instincts, I feel like I do those things well. .
What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?
Going the junior college route. Blinn taught me how to check all the boxes and put me in a better situation just by working hard and letting the chips fall.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I always pray before every game.
What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?
When Jake Blumrick ran into the end zone on the goal line against Sam Houston in NRG Stadium. Can’t describe a better feeling.
What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?
Reading to elementary kids with some of my teammates on Fridays before any home game.
Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?
Growing up in Denver, the Broncos became my favorite team and I am definitely a die hard fan.
If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?
My Grandpa, Joe Thomas and Jon Foreman
