Josh Freeman says “nerves” got the best of him in first start for Vikings
Josh Freeman looked horrible in his forst game, but today he came out and let everyone know that was just nerves.
“Looking back, maybe I was a little too fired up at first,” he said. “There’s definitely a lot of correctable things, things that going into the game I would’ve banked on me being able to complete or get done on the field, but at the same time we weren’t able to do so, so I’m moving forward and just got to find a way to be better prepared.”
Well, I honestly don’t feel he will need to worry, because I could see the Vikings beating the Packers this week with Christian Ponder, and if that happens, he will not be given the keys to drive for quite some time.
