Josh Cribbs says the “Jets” are not the “Browns” they don’t give up
Josh Cribbs was on the New York Jets this past weekend when they were whooped by the Cincinnati Bengals in a major loss. Well Josh was asked by the media what he thought of the game and this was his quote, it sounds like a major smack in the face of his former team:
“We’re not the Browns,” Cribbs told Newsday on Sunday. “We’re not the team that gives up. We have fight in this team. They’re a motivated bunch of young guys. I’m just happy to be here and be able to contribute … Love it here.
“We lost. It’s going to be a lesson for us and we’re going to play harder,” said Cribbs. “It’s good that (loss) comes now because we’re still in the mix of this. We’re halfway through the season.”
Cribbs was ragged on and picked on for the quote, in which he said he was misquoted. Regardless of the situation, Cribbs didn’t help his situation any better.
