Jonathan Martin out for Dolphins after “emotional breakdown”.

Dolphins’ 2012 Second round draft pick Jonathan Martin, Offensive Tackle out of Stanford, is out for the Dolphins’ Thursday Night Football bout with the streaking Bengals who are looking to make it Five consecutive victories. According to a series of tweets from NFL Network and NFL.com’s Jeff Darlington, Martin hasn’t been present or practicing at the team facilities all week after suffering an” emotional breakdown” at the Dolphins’ facility on Monday. He is listed by the team as out with an “illness” right now and is home spending time with his family and is now seeking help from outside the Dolphins’ organization for mental counseling. This was not due to a falling out with coaches or a team mate according to Darlington. Martin is an important young player in the Dolphins’ offense, even though their offensive line has been brutal, allowing a league high 32 sacks on their young franchise Quarterback, Ryan Tannehill. Martin being out is a big blow to the a dismal offensive lin which will impact Ryan Tannehill and the rest of the offense’s possible production. Whatever Jonathan Martin is currently experiencing, I wish him the best of luck in his recovery.
