Jets sign former NDSU cornerback Marcus Williams to practice squad
Today another North Dakota State University football player was signed in the NFL. Marcus Williams the shutdown corner for the Bisons over the past several years has been signed by the New York Jets. Williams was invited to the East/West Shrine Game and was a very solid defender.
Williams was a stud for the Bisons, and had landed an undrafted free agent deal with the Houston Texans. Williams was recently released by the Texans but found a home quickly with the Jets.
The Jets are very thin at the cornerback position, so this is a great place for Williams.
