Who is your role model, and why?

LeBron James, because of how successful he is on and off the court. He has always done things the right way.

Who was your favorite teacher?

My favorite teacher was my English 2 teacher in high school. She helped me out a lot in a subject that I didn’t care for.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

I ran track.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

The toughest player I ever faced was at practice everyday in Juco, Devin Gray.

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

Lee Spight, he doesn’t get a lot of attention but he is always doing his job the way it is supposed to be done.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

Perfect Imperfection by Kevin Gates

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

I have always tried to play like Eric Berry. I try to compare myself to him because he has the ability to play free safety up high and roam around while also having the ability to come in the box and make plays. I strive to be as versatile as him.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Going to JUCO in California for two years and having to be away from my daughter who lived in Louisiana. I overcame it by calling her everyday, coming home when I had the chance, flying her out there to visit, and staying focus on the goal.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I always wake up and take a hot shower on game day and I do push ups before going out on field to get my blood running.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

I think my first collegiate interception would be the most memorable for me.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

Helping serve food and help the people who were affected by the floods that happened a year ago has to the coolest thing that I have done for someone else.

Dallas Cowboys
