My mother, she is the strongest person I have ever met.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Scott Harris, he was a COMS professor and the coach of the debate team. Coolest professor I’ve ever had.

Basketball and Track

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Genard Avery or Poona Ford

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

Joe Dinnen, Daniel Wise, and Steven Sims are the most underrated players in the country.

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

Versatile – Kodak Black

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Richie Incognito, I play with a nasty streak and don’t take crap from anyone

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest obstacle was not qualifying right away out of high school and losing every offer i had. I was extremely lost and ended up going to Blinn junior college and turned my life around.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Just pray and try to relax

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

Running the ball in from the one-yard line against Texas to send the game to overtime.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

A young fan was standing outside of our practice area one day and I knelt down to take a picture with him and his grandma framed the picture and sent it to me in the mail with an attached letter.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

Denver Broncos

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Abraham Lincoln, Martin Luther King, and Lebron James
