University of Maine

Football is about giving back, what is the coolest thing you have done off the field?

Participated in blood drives and bone marrow donation programs. Also participated in little black bear activities with local youth. volunteering at YMCA camp 

What was the hardest college class you ever had to take?

Math

Who is your role model, and why?

My father, and Michael Jordan

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Wrestling

Did you play any other positions in football?

Wide receiver, safety, and line backer in high school

At your position, what separates you from others?

Performance under pressure. My best 4 college performances were against my teams toughest opponents.

When you are breaking down film, what do you look for?

Returner and coverage, my own technique

Gerald Hodges

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Pat McAfee

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

Having to get from a JUCO to a D1 program

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

Always tie my left shoe before my right, Pregame fake radio show with the other K/Ps

What is your biggest strength?

Staying calm under pressure

What is your biggest weakness?

Procrastination

If I were a GM and gave you a second to sell yourself, what would you say?

Great teammate, make friends easily, focused on the common good

Brian Dawkins, Eagles
