Houston Texans re-sign OLB Ricky Sapp
The Texans re-signed outside linebacker Ricky Sapp on Tuesday, according to the team. Sapp, acquired from waivers on November 15, 2013, saw playing time in Houston’s final four games last season.
Prior to being signed by the Texans, Sapp had stints with the Eagles and Jets. He played nine games, primarily as a backup linebacker and on special teams. Sapp was a standout linebacker for Clemson.
