Giants sign veteran CB; Place LB Beason on I/R
The New York Giants signed Former FSU cornerback Mike Harris today and placed Jon Beason on the I/R.
Harris was drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in the 6th round (176th overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft. He played college football for El Camino College before transferring to Florida State University.
@RVacchianoNYDN: When CB Mike Harris officially signs with the Giants he presumably will take the roster spot of LB Jon Beason, who is headed to IR.
The Giants also released linebacker Carlos Fields from their practice squad as well.
