Texans will host TE Gary Barnidge on Friday
We are learning that former Cleveland Browns tight end Gary Barnidge will fly out to Houston and work out for the Texans. Gary is in great shape and has been waiting patiently for an opportunity to play this season.
The Texans may not be that serious of a contender for Barnidge’s services, but they are going to kick the tires. The Buffalo Bills and Jacksonville Jaguars have also worked out the former Louisville pass catcher.
With C.J. Fiedorowicz being placed on the Injured Reserve, there is a spot available, but will the Texans just wait until Ryan Griffin comes back in a couple weeks? We will see but I can confirm Barnidge will work out with the Texans in the morning.
