Former Jets second round pick found out he was cut on Twitter
Yesterday the New York Jets waived/injured former second roun pick Devin Smith, but Smith claims he still has heard nothing from the team himself.
Speaking with SB Nation’s Thomas George, the former Ohio State Buckeye wide out revealed that no Jets executive, coach or teammate had called him to let him know he’d been let go.
“I found out on Twitter,” Smith said. “All I can say is, it’s just weird,” he says of the lack of Jets communication.
That is pretty sad to be honest. I hope Smith is kidding….
