Former Colts first rounder Jerry Hughes takes a shot at Jim Irsay
Jerry Hughes the former first-round pick of the Colts who had his best season last year for the Buffalo Bills, said he doesn’t think Colts owner Jim Irsay’s punishment was enough.
“It’s kind of like a slap on the wrist,” Hughes told ESPN. “But it is what it is. It’s the business. . . . I’ll just let the numbers speak for themselves. I mean, he’s a billionaire, so I’m pretty sure [$500,000] won’t hurt too badly.”
I don’t know about you, but I agree with Hughes. It was a weak deal for the NFL.
