Fantasy Football: NFL Draft Diamonds Week 1 DUDS

Football Season is finally here…..

Sorry Dolphins fans, Tom Brady owns you

Well when you have football, you better believe Fantasy Football is not far behind.  We are going to do two sections every week with Fantasy Duds, and Fantasy Studs.  We will pick one player at each position that we wouldn’t start if you have the player on your roster.

I hope you enjoy, here you go…..

Geno Smith – QB – New York Jets – I don’t know why you would even think about starting Geno, but if you would DON’T. A matter of fact, cut him.  Geno Smith is the starting quarterback in New York, but I do not feel it will last long.  Geno will face the Raiders defense this week, and I expect the Raiders to have a field day with the Jets offense.

Rashad Jennings – RB – New York Giants – While I feel the Lions will be exposed through the air, I feel they will shut the run game down. Jennings had a huge preseason, but I do not feel he will have a huge day against the Lions this week.

Keenan Allen – WR – San Diego Chargers – Keenan Allen is a stud, but he will be going up against Patrick Peterson in Arizona.  I don’t like the match up. I would stay far away from it.  I think the Cardinals are going to make Rivers throw to his other wide outs. If they do that they win the game.

Jared Cook – TE – St. Louis Rams – He is probably their most consistent weapon on the offensive side of the ball, but I do not like Shaun Hill starting.  I am sorry, this is not a good look. Even if they are playing from behind.

Dolphins Defense – Stay far away from them, the last time Tom Brady played the Dolphins week one he threw for 500 plus yards.  It is the most yards to ever start a season for a quarterback.  This is not a smart play. Stay far away from the Phins D.

Caleb Sturgis – K – Miami Dolphins – I know you are probably thinking I am dragging the Phins, but I promise I am not.  The Phins need a good kicker. Sturgis has been hurt more than he has been healthy since entering in the NFL.  I stay away from Sturgis, until he proves his worth.
