Franklin, LA

Who is your role model, and why?

My mother. She adopted me a baby and she has fought and struggled to put me in the best position to succeed my whole life. She’s my hero.

Who was your favorite teacher?

Professor Billete Owens-Ashford at Morehouse College.

Did you play any other sports growing up?

Yes, basketball but I felt like football better suited my aggressive nature and heavy build.

Who was the toughest player you ever faced?

Grover Stewart DT. He was drafted by the Colts.

Who is the most underrated player on your team?

Kenny Haggins S/LB

What is the one song that would fire you up before the biggest game of your life?

My Struggle by Lil’ Boosie. Just takes you back and reminds you why you grind so hard.

If you could compare your play to one player in the NFL who would it be and why?

Tyron Smith. He is my favorite offensive lineman in the league. He is big and athletic, but his technique is always textbook. I am big on my technique as well.

What was the biggest obstacle in your life you had to overcome, and how did you overcome it?

It was believing in myself and trusting my ability. I just had to learn to work to be the hardest working person in the room or on the field so I can walk around with that confidence.

Do you have any pre-game rituals?

I just like to film and clips from the speaker Eric Thomas.

What was the most memorable play of your collegiate career?

It was when we played Miles College in 2016. The running back got stuffed at the goal line, so grabbed him and drove in the end zone.

What is the coolest thing you ever did off the field for someone else?

It would definitely be the community service I and some of the team did. We had the opportunity to play baseball with special needs children. They were some of the coolest kids ever man.

Who was your favorite NFL team growing up?

Saints. Who Dat !

If you could have dinner with three people dead or alive, who would you choose?

Soloman Jackson, a friend of mine that passed away a few years back.

Trent Williams, the left tackle for the Redskins. Also one of my favorite players.

Future, because he has been one of my favorite artists since high school.
