Eagles are likely to part ways with S Patrick Chung and Brandon Graham

The Philadelphia Eagles defense will likely keep most of their starters, but according to CSN Philly two starters could be shown the door.  One of those players is Patrick Chung who was a good player but outplayed by a rookie.  The other is Brandon Graham according to the report.

The only starter likely to be shown the door is Patrick Chung, who had already lost his starting job to rookie Earl Wolff and only regained it when Wolff injured his knee, and the biggest overall loss will probably be reserve linebacker Brandon Graham, a former first-round pick.

Chung is owed $3.25 million and was dreadful throughout 2013, getting burned in coverage relentlessly and consistently taking bad angles in the run game. He didn’t force a single turnover. A 2009 second-round pick of the Patriots, Chung has been exposed as a poor safety since a faux-breakout 2010 season.
