Would you draft Florida State’s Jameis Winston?
Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston, the 2013 Heisman Trophy winner and college football’s most famous accused rapist, may be worrying some potential future employers. It sounds like the fans of NFL teams are not fans of Jameis Winston. A matter of fact, a SportsNation Poll just came up on ESPN saying that 75 percent of fans would not want their NFL team to draft Jameis.

In a @SportsNation poll, 75% of fans wouldn’t want their NFL team to draft Jameis Winston even if they needed a QB.
As such, NFL general managers have grown wary of Winston, and Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer said all of the GMs he’s spoken with have dropped Winston on their potential draft boards.Which would be a huge fall for a player once considered a potential No. 1 overall draft pick. Glazer also said some teams could end up dropping Winston completely off their draft boards.
So here is our question to our readers. Would you draft Jameis Winston if you were the GM? Take the good and the bad, which outweigh the other?
The Good:
- National Championship winner/Heisman Winner
- 5000 career passing yards, 51 touchdowns and 15 interceptions
- Very good accuracy
- Leadership skills on the field
- A Proven winner
The Bad:
- Rape Allegations
- Stealing from Publix
- Saying stupid things in Public
- Signing Autographs for Money?
- Immaturity
So now you have seen a few of the good and bad signs, what do you do? Do you draft the gunslinger, or stay away from him?
