Dolphins defensive coordinator says Mario Williams needs to play better

Bills pass rusher Mario Williams is excited to play under Rex Ryan in Buffalo
Mario Williams is getting called out by his Defensive Coordinator

The Miami Dolphins and their defensive coordinator Vance Joseph are not very happy with Mario Williams performance.  The former first overall pick has been playing pretty bad since last season in Buffalo. His production has dropped, and his DC Vance Joseph called him out for his lack luster performances.

“He’s got to play harder; he’s got to play better,” Dolphins defensive coordinator Vance Joseph said, via ESPN. “Obviously, he’s being allowed to rush the passer. But the games we’ve been in, it’s been more run-first, pass-second games. So for us to be a great rushing team, we have to earn the right. … If they want to rush more, stop the run more consistently.”

It sounds like Mario Williams is doing it again. Last year for the Bills he was horrible and did not buy into the Rex Ryan system which the Bills are flourishing in today.
